Emily is a McMaster University alum with a Bachelors Degree in Science and a minor in Classics. Currently, she’s working with us as an Orthotic Technician. During her spare time Emily enjoys cooking for her family, practicing yoga, and travelling. You can also catch her playing a spirited game of Jeopardy with her friends.

Michelle is currently an Orthotic Technician working primarily at our Hamilton location. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics Honours Degree. Michelle has spent many years volunteering her time at local hospitals caring for patients. Working at the clinic she hopes further her education in lower limb care to better serve our clinics clients. In her off hours she loves spending time with her exotic Bengal cat Griffin named after her university’s mascot.

Heidi has been nursing in a hospital surgical setting since 1993 and has transitioned to a role as nurse in both the Hamilton and Burlington Foot clinics. Heidi looks forward to continuing to help the community in this new role.

Kathy Mercanti has dedicated 20 years to the Hamilton Foot Clinic and The Foot & Ankle Institute. Kathy co-manages the clinics with Lyne Heroux. Kathy also manages the Receivable Accounts for both clinics and acts as Patient Account Coordinator. Kathy has two beautiful children and one adorable grand daughter who is the love of her life!

Sarah returned to school in 2016, where she obtained a medical terminology acknowledgement from Mohawk College. She has been enjoying her time in the healthcare industry ever since. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from Ryerson University, as well as Marketing and Business Administration diplomas from Mohaw
Sarah returned to school in 2016, where she obtained a medical terminology acknowledgement from Mohawk College. She has been enjoying her time in the healthcare industry ever since. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from Ryerson University, as well as Marketing and Business Administration diplomas from Mohawk College. She brings a broad customer service, administrative and leadership background to the clinic. Outside of work, Sarah devotes most of her time to her very energetic four year old son, who loves to be outdoors as much as she does. She is also a big fan of hosting friends and family for dinner, boardgames and often a cheesy movie.
